Flying home from a show in Oklahoma. Despite playing with a wrecked left index finger courtesy of a San Diego surf mishap, the show was really musical and a good time. Recorded some drums for the studio version of Monotov's(the remix) yesterday. It was fun to dig around a bit for the right approach. We started by doing 3 full drum takes. Next we did two takes where I played just the drums and then overdubbed the hi hat and cymbals. We cut up those takes in pro tools to approximate a drum machine's accuracy.
